Forensic Heroes II

Synopsis

Bomb disposal expert Yeung Yat-Sing, Ivan, (Kevin Cheng) returns from England to visit relatives and he comes across a grenade case by accident. Ivan's skills are highly appreciated by Senior Chemist Ko Yin-Bok, Timothy, (Bobby Au-Yeung) and he is invited to join the Forensic Division. Ivan soon becomes the division's rising star. Ivan gets back in touch with his long-lost best friend Koo Chak-Sam, Sam (Frankie Lam). Sam serves as a forensic writer and he is going to get married soon.

During a case, Sam's fiancée Lam Ding-Ding (Linda Chung) and Timothy's police girlfriend Leung Siu-Yau (Yoyo Mung) are caught in an explosion meant to kill two drug dealers. Ding-Ding dies of her injuries, while Siu-Yau loses movement in her right hand and goes half-deaf. Yau's duties are passed to Ma Kwok-Ying, Bell, (Charmaine Sheh) from the Narcotics Bureau. Both Sam and Ivan find Bell extremely charming with her smart and unfathomable characteristics in case handling.Then Ivan fell in love with Bell and the two become a couple.

Integrating laboratory techniques, logical reasoning, and forensic knowledge, the trio strive to fight against crimes tremendously. As they get to know each other more and more, the entangled triangle of love also starts to hinder their working relationships. Cases includes "The Skeleton", "The Case of the Disabled", "The Movie Star Mystery", and many more. The forensic scientists went through different ways to solve each of those cases.

Forensic Heroes II

Introduction

Forensic Heroes II (Traditional Chinese: 法證先鋒II) is a TVB modern suspense series broadcast in May 2008 and the second installment of the Forensic Heroes series. The series is a direct sequel to 2006's Forensic Heroes (法證先鋒). The main cast features Bobby Au-Yeung, Frankie Lam, and Yoyo Mung from the original series and new cast including Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh. Linda Chung also reprises her role into this sequel, however due to schedule conflicts with another project, she was written off early in the story.

Sweet Memories

Yat Kin gave Tze Yu a puppy as she wished to adopt if she gets well. This wish was conveyed to Yeung Chung (Onion) at the Mercy Hospital, and he told Yat Kin. It was to cheer and give Tze Yu the support to go for the operation with full confidence.

After this scene, Yat Kin decided to propose to her at a restaurant but Tze Yu declined it as she did not want to be a burden to Yat Kin if she doesn't gets well.

This was where Tze Yu gave Yat Hong and family a surprise. Tze Yu bought for Yat Hong a standing wheel chair so that he is able to see the world like anybody else which was his wish all this while. Yat Kin was touched by her kindness to travel all the way to the United States of America to personally purchase it and he began to have feelings for her.

The housemen from Mercy Hospital decided to rent this beautiful apartment whose landlord is Benjamin and Yat Kin. They excitedly paid the $HKD 900 for the rent after scouting around the place. But to Yeung Chung (Onion)'s surprise, he saw Yat Kin (his superior), who he really dislikes for being strict at him at the hospital. He wanted to leave the place and change his mind on renting there, but Benjamin told him that there will be no refund.

His fellow colleagues persuaded him and assure him that everything would be fine. So he stayed there with a heart of disappointment initially.

In the earlier episodes, where Tze Yu admires and adores him as a crush, she had several scenes and thoughts that she treasure in her heart. For example: "I really liked Yat Kin. He is so passionate for his job."

Introduction

Each day and night,in a race against time, a group of medical interns and residents attempt to help their patients triumph illness and death. However, what is the real mission of these future doctors and what can be mastered in the end?

Graduating neurosurgery resident, Cheung Yat Kin (Kenneth Ma) was intent on sending his disabled younger brother to study overseas. Thus, Yat Kin concentrated on work to earn money and neglected his own love life until he met medical intern, Fan Tze Yu (Tavia Yeung), who possessed the same passion in medical studies. Tze Yu came from a family of famous doctors. Strongly attracted by Yat Kin’s abilities and personality, Tze Yu took the initiative to pursue him.

While Yat Kin was still hesitant, the sudden death of his brother led to Yat Kin’s drastic change in temperament. The staff of the entire hospital, including a group of new interns, such as Yeung Pui Chung (Him Law) and Tze Yu’s younger sister, Hung Mei Suet (Mandy Wong) respected Yat Kin greatly. During Yat Kin’s lowest point, Tze Yu was diagnosed with a serious illness. Tze Yu pulls Kin up to support her through. As time goes on, Kin had to perform a dangerous surgery for Tze Yu as her condition is very critical.

As a doctor, he feels that it is his job to save patients... but as Tze Yu's boyfriend, he feels uneasy...

TVB Anniversary Awards' Recipients 2012

Best Actor - Kenneth Ma

Kenneth Ma is TVB's most prominent lead actor this year which contributed from his doctor role as Dr. Cheung Yat-Kin in The Hippocratic Crush.

The Hippocratic Crush is the highest rated drama in the first half of this year. The drama’s ratings averaged 31 points and peaked at 39 points. This led Kenneth to be nominated as TVB King of the year.

Best Actress - Charmaine Sheh

TVB actress Charmaine Sheh won the public's hearts with her outstanding performance in When Heaven Burns. She is currently leading the "Best Actress" scoreboard ahead of hot favourites Kate Tsui and Tavia Yeung by a wide margin.

Charmaine Sheh believes that she has been nominated for TVB's Best Actress due to her work and nothing political.

Best Supporting Actor - Oscar Leung

Oscar, who portrayed an eunuch character in The Confidant, boosted his confidence in winning an award at the TVB Anniversary Awards this year. He was nominated for two awards - Best Supporting Actor for his role as Kwan Yi Gor in L'Escargot and Most Improved Actor award. It was his hope to win the Most Improved Actor Award.

However, he only managed to win the Best Supporting Actor of the year. All in all, he credited the support of his friends for his progress and achievements today.

Best Supporting Actress - Mandy Wong

TVB actress Mandy Wong's role as Lau Siu-Lan in L'Escargot promoted to her popularity and thus gained her an award in the recent TVB Anniversary Awards 2012 as Best Supporting Actress.
